Her current group Black Bananas have just released their sophomore LP, 'Bad Bunch' on FIRE Records.
In a Public Record Exclusive, Jennifer shares what led her and her bandmates to include a 'physical only' track on their new album:
“‘Terror Vision’ is the extra room inside the physical record.
Physical media matters because it exists outside of permission—it can’t be edited, withdrawn, buried by a search engine or mysteriously disappear when corporations take control of the servers.
Once a record or CD is in someone’s hands, the work becomes part of a real, distributed archive.
Giving the physical edition something the stream doesn’t have is both a reward and a thank-you to the people who still believe artistic creations are worth keeping, not just temporarily accessing.”
