A power pop classic is coming back into print thanks to Omnivore Records.

You know Jason Falkner’s bands like Jellyfish, The Three O’Clock and his work with artists like Beck, Paul McCartney, Air, and many more.

But this week, Jenny Nobody is offering a Public Recommendation for Jason Falkner Presents Author Unknown.

Originally released in 1996, this new 30th anniversary edition is sourced from the original multitrack tapes. The limited vinyl edition drops in record stores on Record Store Day Black Friday, November 27th, but the CD version, out December 4th, is up for pre-order now at Hello Merch. Most interesting of all? The set features new liner notes by Falkner himself, and a set of demos demos cut on a Tascam Porta-One 4-track cassette recorder.
