FLIPPER PUPPET MAYHEM!
On October 13th at Hello Lincoln, two legendary punk bands formed one far-out, anarchic supergroup.
And it sounded unreal.
San Francisco’s Flipper brought their improvisational art-punk to Hello Lincoln, along with a selection of unique posters and prints.
Following sets by Phoenix bands Treacherous Dogs and SNEAK and DJ sets by TK Nicholson and Hellahammer, FLIPPER took the stage.FLIPPER'S ANYTHING GOES SET
Joined by guest vocalist Tom Reardon, they tore through cuts like “Ha Ha Ha,” before a closing epic that found them joined by members of Bowcat, Meet the Sun, and three members of the Meat Puppets, Elmo and Cris Kirkwood and drummer Derrick Bostrom—not to mention someone in the crowd.
It was a completely unexpected holy shit moment…
