Led by Kevin Krauter and Nina Pitchkites, Indianapolis band Wishy conjures up fuzzy, ’90s alt-pop nostalgia. Packed with winsome melodies and ear catching hooks, their 2023 EPs Mana and Paradise both rule, and on August 16, they release their debut full-length Triple Seven.
Recorded mostly in Indiana with producer Ben Lumsdaine, the album pulls together strands of shoegaze, grunge, and power pop—it’s openhearted, earnest rock pop.
