Do you wanna be stereotyped? Classified? Do you wanna be a clone with a suburban home? Well good news: pop punk pioneers Descendents and folk punk troubadour Frank Turner are hitting the road, with Montreal garage punks Nobro in tow. Turner took to social media to say, the Descendents “have been one of my favourite bands since I was a kid…This is a dream come true for me.” The tour kicks of February 13 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and runs into March, concluding March 15 in Chicago. Arizona fans have a chance to catch the show March 4th in Tucson, at the Rialto Theatre.Turner’s latest album is 2024’s Undefeated, and the Descendents’ latest is 2021’s 9th & Walnut, featuring songs the band wrote between 1977 and 1980.
