Power pop kings Redd Kross are heading out on a spring tour to celebrate 45 years of rock & roll glory, but that’s not all they are up to: the band has just announced a split EP with Australian punkers The Hard-Ons! Out February 27 on Cheer Squad Records & Tapes. The split features three unreleased songs from each—two acoustic versions from Redd Kross’ latest and their rarity “The Lady In the Front Row,” and three new tracks cut at the same time as Hard-Ons’ most recent, “I Like You a Lot Getting Older.” The EP can be pre-ordered via Bandcamp now, and there are opaque red, translucent blue, opaque yellow, and black vinyl editions, with a translucent emerald variant only available at Hard-Ons and Redd Kross gigs.
