It’s the first taste of the singer/songwriter’s new album, Fatal Optimist, out on Anti Records October 10th. It follows Diaz’s 2024 album Weird Faith, which was nominated for two Grammy awards.
Maybe you’ve seen Diaz sharing stages with Angel Olsen, Waxahatchee, or Harry Styles, but the new single finds her embracing a stripped down acoustic sound, with a growling slide guitar drifting like smoke in the background.
