Back in 2022, B-52s member Fred Schneider said he’d “never get on a tour bus again” but when Devo came calling, he just couldn’t resist: that’s right, both new wave legends are embarking on a co-headlining tour featuring 11 dates in September, October, and November.
Devo’s Mark Mothersbaugh added: “It was either fate or luck or the SNL anniversary that brought us all together to create this amazing chance to go out on tour. All I can say is Cosmic Devolution is REAL!”
In addition to the shows, on Friday, June 20th, B-52s released a boxset of their first 8 albums, The Warner and Reprise Years. Pressed on a rainbow of colored vinyl, the 9LP edition is limited to 2,000 copies, and it’s available as an 8 CD set too.
