Here at WASTOIDS we love power pop: great hooks, killer harmonies, and catchy songs. And we’re really loving the sound of French rockers Alvilda! Fresh off their first US tour with Slugger and an appearance on WFMU’s Rock & Roller Derby with Suzy Hotrod, Nina, Mel, Eva, and Sandra are headed back to Paris, hopefully to get to work on a follow up to their 2024 LP C’est Deja L’heure, which translates to “It’s Already Time” in English. Clocking in at just under 30 minutes, it’s a reminder that leaving audiences wanting more is never a bad idea.
